Missions Sunday
On Sunday, April 28, 2024, we will celebrate what the Church of the Nazarene, through God's grace, is accomplishing around the world. We will also give you an opportunity to join with the church in supporting missions by filling out a Faith Promise commitment card (at Trinity or on the Missions Offering page of our website). Faith Promise allows you to give systematically each month, each week, or in a lump sum, whatever works best for you. Faith Promise is vital to the Church of the Nazarene to support missions in a variety of ways. By giving to missions, you'll be joining Nazarenes in 23,000 churches in 163 countries around the world in supporting global and local ministries. Nazarenes are passionate about making a difference in the world by taking the good news of Jesus Christ to people everywhere.
Our special speakers are Rob and Cindy North. Our members who went to Africa with the district Work & Witness team in 2020 first met Rob and Cindy at Africa Nazarene University, where Cindy served as Chaplain and Rob was Director of University Advancement. Rob worked closely with our team, and we came to love him and Cindy.
However, their assignment has changed in a big way. As of the first of this year the Norths are serving as missionaries in Australia! For over fifty years the Church of the Nazarene has directly engaged in missions to First Nations people, including sending missionaries into the remotest corners of the Australian outback to serve and minister in otherwise forgotten communities. Cindy and Rob are joining this ministry venture for the Australia/New Zealand Field. In addition, Rob is working with Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary as their Director Of Development. On April 28, we will be receiving an offering for Rob and Cindy's work as well as your Faith Promise Commitments.

Bibles for Africa
Do you have Bibles at home that you no longer use? A Bible that sits on your shelf could be repurposed and become the only Bible a Pastor in Africa will ever own! Christian Literature for Africa Association is collecting Bibles to send to various areas of the continent of Africa for Pastors and students of the Word. They will need hundreds of Bibles to fill their next 20-foot shipping container! If you don’t have any Bibles at home, you may be led to collect Bibles from thrift stores, or from friends. We will collect Bibles at Char’s office, or you could take them directly to CLA, located at the back of our church parking lot. Learn more about CLA at www.christianlitforafrica.org.
